All About Mia
Mia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University (ACU). She has worked across a variety of settings, including paediatric clinics, kindergartens, and schools.
Mia is trained in the assessment of complex neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder and related developmental differences. She has worked within multidisciplinary teams to complete comprehensive assessments, supporting accurate diagnosis and individualised intervention planning.
Mia enjoys partnering with children and families to work towards meaningful, individualised goals in ways that feel engaging and achievable. She believes therapy is most effective when it is fun, strengths-based, and connected to a child’s real-world experiences. Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each child’s interests, learning style, and unique strengths, creating a space where progress feels motivating and natural. Her goal is for children to leave each session feeling confident, capable, and proud of their growth.
